Pop Art is artists who put their dreams together and elaborate and make something big and worth the meaning of. It is in our everyday life and culture. When you go out you see a bunch of art everyday that all have a deep meaning inside. Pop art can embrace who you are and express your feelings or what you are imagining. Pop art inspires me with daily life lessons or quotes, making me more positive and to dream even bigger. For this pop art project I would like to work on Marylin Monroe, I've always admired her and would like to get and know more information about her, when I see her art I see many beautiful images, entertainment, and enthusiasm.

My perspective is the difference between art and design is that some designers consider themselves artists but few artists consider themselves designers because your creative can come from anything you c an put art and turn it into fashion because its what your inspired by and also pop art is mainly cultural and it all started in the mid 1950's and its basically what you see and you just turn it into a creative massive art work that looks cool .Pop artist inspired me by showing me the difference of how you can just create one piece of art and turn it into something huge and successful.

Pop art movement is a movement that emerge in mid- 1950s when different artists like for example Richard Hamilton, Eduardo Paolozzi, Robert Rauschenberg, and Jasper Johns joined together to blur the boundaries between "high" art and "low" culture. Pop art is connected to fashion because designers started using popular pop art pieces to incorporate into their designs. Pop art does inspire me because of the different vibrate colors and it doesn't focus on one thing like it shows famous people or popular items at that time. Also I love how designers use pop art in their designs like having their own twist to it. It make their clothes truly "POP." I like to considered Robert Rauschenberg artwork into constructed my blouse because I love his collaboration of everything that was popular and important during the 1950s and in his work you can see that.

Pop art has been ongoing since the 50’s continuing to modernize people of everyday life . As an artist pop culture means numerous things to me ; like a sense of Inspiration, it means different & interesting . This connects to fashion because of latest trends and the people's interest show on their clothing . “Pop artist believed everything is interconnected and therefore sought out to make those connections literal.” Pop art inspires me continually , influencing me to be more free and different with my taste & ideas , like Andy Warhol’s Campbell soup cans his work was different and said to be universally recognizable.I would like to incorporate Tupac into my design construction . Making the piece timeless , sensible .

Pop art is the symbol of artists' feelings and emotions experienced throughout their creations. As an artist, pop art is my inspiration. ''By creating painting or sculptures of mass culture objects and media stars, the pop art movement aimed to blur the boundaries between 'high' art and 'low' culture.'' During my artistic creations, I exclude the culture and include the creativity of the artwork. That's why pop art is meaningful to me. Pop art relates to fashion design since it appears on many types of clothing such as t-shirts. Pop art inspires me enough to add it to the construction of my blouse. I will incorporate Yayoi Kusama's work into my blouse design. Her design is actually similar and it ties in with my last fashion art project.

We have pop art in our everyday lives. It's your culture and it's pretty much everything around you. Pop art lets you express yourself in any type of way. Pop art inspires me and gives me more of a positive vibe in my daily routine. For the pop art project I would like to work on Andy Warhol on his Marilyn Monroe painting because he paints her show her bubbly personality with all different types of colors

The pop art movement to me is ordinary people making ordinary things extravagant. For example, Andy Warhol took Campbell's canned soup and created a painting that made people see the soup in a total different light. As an artist this helps me to have the mindset that everything has the ability to shown as high class and fancy. Pop art in the fashion world has helped designers to take their designs further than just bold colors and basic designs. Pop art inspires me enough for me to want to be abstract and to think outside the box. I would incorporate Andy Warhol's designs in my blouse because he really took to the meaning of what pop art is and his designs are very interesting to me. Also, I would include Biggie Smalls in my designs. His music is art and will be depicted as such on my garment.

To me the pop art movement is normal people turning everyday things or patterns into extraordinary things. Pop culture allows you to express yourself. Pop art inspires me to think outside of the box and try to do things that are not commonly seen throughout the world. For my pop art project I would like to work on Andy Warhol and incorporate his overall idea contrasting color.

Emily Hernandez:
The Pop Art movement has been allowing artists since the 1950s to express their views of what's happening in culture and media in their own unique creative way. The pop art movement has eliminated the Hierarchy of culture, expanded the limits of what is considered traditional art and has shown that their is no right or wrong way in how creatively you can express your views of what happens in society. Pop Art inspires me as it shows that there is no limit in creativity and that there is unlimited sources to seek inspiration while creating artwork. Pop Art relates to fashion design as many designers are able to incorporate what is going on in their environment into their designs the same way Pop Artists are able to incorporate inspiration from what's happening in their environment such as media and culture into their artwork. Personally I would use the work of Roy Litchtenstein to inspire my design of my blouse as he boldly uses comic book work as his inspiration by incorporating bold colors and designs that really pop out in his art work. I would be interested in creating a similarly bold design in my blouse design.

the pop art movement is altering something normal and making it fun and relateable to society. when andy warhol painted a simple banana with spots, people liked it because that's something you see all the time at the supermarket but when he made it into a painting they realized they're not the only ones who recognize something as simple as a fruit in such a way. it connects to fashion design because some designers have used extraordinary patterns on their garments as andy warhol did with the canned soup and banana, like doughnuts, ice cream, cookies, etc. to catch attention. i certainly do love pop art and the way it looks in different settings but it doesn't really inspire me. i will incorporate claes oldenburg onto the constriction of my blouse.

The movement of pop art made a mark in history, we have it in our world today. Pop art connects to fashion Design because many designers get inspired what their surrounded by so having pop art around and designs makes these people add it to their work. It also helps to gain more costumers leading to a good title. Pop Art did inspire and caught my attention of example like the way Richard Hamilton added the simple things like a coca cola logo cherry pie and WWII fighter plane shows his creativity and its also very simple. Pop art makes me think outside the box but still be simple.

Pop art movement is dreaming big putting all your ideas in a piece of paper, creating a lot of different imaginations. Making your ideas fun ; that’s what’s pop art means unique. It has helped a lot of designers with their work like in a pattern, colors or even shapes. As a fashion designer pop art means a lot because you actually get to created your own ideas. Pop art inspires me because it helps me to think bigger and there is not a stop to this artwork. For this next project I would like to use the work of Andy Warhol and Jasper Johns because they both give me some good ideas. They both helped me to think outside the box.

The pop art movement was a movement that started in the 1950's in Britain and the early artists involved were Eduardo Paolizzi, Richard Hamilton and Robert Rauschenberg. Pop art is meant to be fun and stand out. Pop art includes labels and images that are popular in the world. I believe that pop art is a way to express. It is bold and stands out from many things. Pop art takes something simple and makes it very alluring. Adding the extra pop drags people in because it has its own unique and interesting aspect. Pop art goes past the everyday things we see and turns it into something more that expresses creativity.

Pop or is fun! It's different! It's very vibrant and colorful. Pop art is a great way to catch someone's attention. It's really good at advertising. It makes a connection with the audience. It keeps the art as "honest" and direct as possible, and with the use of colors, it is sure to manually stimulate the audience. With the use of icons, catchy slogans etc. As a future fashion designer I believe pop art goes well with fashion in general. The creative dynamic goes well with the pattern on fabric. For example on shirts, sweatshirts, dresses and any type of garment that you just want the feel of energy and fiery. Pop art inspired me with the simple fact that you can just look at it and get the feeling of being happy and wowed. The pop art artist that I'm incorporating in my design is Jim dine. I looked up his work and it's basically hearts that are all different colors, which stood out to me because it symbolizes all the different spots in a heart and the emotions that it all has. It was said that he was one of the artist that exploded in America which is also why I chose him. "But it was not until 1960's that pop art truly exploded in America.... The artist in that show in included Jim Dine."

The pop art movement was an era of self expression through vibrant colors and well known companies and advertisements. Pop art inspires me because it shows me that it is ok to come out of my comfort zone sometimes. In addition, pop art shows me that even the most common things are very influential to today's society. I believe that Larry Rivers mainly influenced me because his art is so mysterious. In other words, there is so much to look at that when you look at the art it is almost like a search and find puzzle!

As an artist this movement means that pop art is not only a painting or design, it is something that people see every day and usually it’s in our lives. Pop art allows people to express themselves with designs and colors. Roy Lichtenstein states, "Pop Art looks out into the world. It doesn't look like a painting of something; it looks like the thing itself ". Pop art has been popular in the mid-1950 and ever since then pop art has been big in paintings, drawings and in fashion. Pop art connects with fashion designs because it gives fashion a more and inspiring look to people. With pop art, fashion makes the style appear more catchy and trendy. Pop art does inspire me because it has different designs, images and colors which could represent how people feel. I would like to incorporate with Roy Lichtenstein to construct my designs into my blouse because his designs are artistic and the way his paintings are drawn and colored with different colors which is creative. It makes me open more and express who I am by using pop art.

To me this pop art movement gave artists, like me, inspiration to express what we are feeling or what we see every day to create amazing art, clothing, accessories etc. I think pop art connects to fashion design because it’s unique, creative and can be fashionable but simple. Roy Lichtenstein states “Pop Art looks out into the world. It doesn't look like a painting of something, it looks like the thing itself”. Pop art inspired me to get creative in my work of design. I would like to incorporate Roy Lichtenstein’s art onto my blouse because of his comic book work and his color choices.

To me the pop art movement means that fashion is becoming more then just patterns and colors on clothes. Fashion Design is sometimes looked at as making something people will buy that's in trend or gives people a type of look they want, but when art is put into design emotions, personalities and new inspirations are created and expressed. Roy Lichtenstein states" Pop art looks out into the world. It doesn't look like a painting of something...it looks like itself." When art is put into design, it can be viewed in many different perspectives. For instance someone can view a piece of art as pain while another sees passion. Pop art inspires me to open up my mind and to use the creative side of myself more then just do the same thing over and over again. I see how these artist had pulled out all these ideas from their head and put it onto fabric. I would like to incorporate Richard Hamilton's ideas to my blouse. I feel like i can relate to his style of images he uses.

After reading this article I can most definitely say that Pop Art is just like fashion because both makes you think outside the box. As stated in the article " Front and center, gripped in the man's hand , is a bright red Tootsie Pop - the latter word literally " popping " out of the frame ." For his first piece of Pop Richard Hamilton created a collage " Just What Is It That Makes Today's Home So Different , So Appealing?" He was able to take the meaning of the topic and turn it into something different something unique. Pop Art is very inspirational to me because it tells me as a designer that there is no limit to a person's creativity, that the most simple things can be transformed in something breathtaking that you can't help but admire the art created. Roy Lichtenstein would be my choice as a Pop Artist based on how he is able to take simple situations or tragic events and make it more thrilling . He does this with his use of contrasting styles and colors truly makes everything just Pop!

To me the Pop Art Movement meant that you were able to express your ideas and make them abstract in your own way in which nobody else could. Also, to me it meant that artist finally had a chance to show their feelings and connect it with the real world and the situations occurring. This movement connected to fashion design because in both the fashion world and when you're painting, you're opening up to others by expressing your work with vivid details and you're making your feelings come to life. Pop art does inspire me because it's a way to get to open up to others and it represents "a rejection of abstraction expressionism." I would love to base my project on Andy Warhol because he uses many abstract designs and he incorporates images with and others.

As a designer, the pop art movement was and still is a turning and breaking point of what now is urban fashion and whats also known as street wear. it carved the way for people to take everyday things and everyday lifestyles and ideas and people and to make it into something beautiful and deeply meaningful which is very inspiring to me as an up and coming designer. This connects to fashion design because the fact that these artists can take everyday aspects of everyday life and create it into something beautiful, it should inspire us as fashion designers to do something as little as picking up a pencil and saying "hey i'm going to construct a pencil skirt". It should light the fuse of creativity in aspiring designers and push them to create something groundbreaking, stylish , deep and lastly meaningful. Pop art inspires me because it shows me that you have to look at the littler things in life and let that spark your creativity and push you to try something new because yes there will be critics and people who find it unconventional but at the end of the day you have to stick with it because who knows if 100 years from now its the most innovative thing to happen in the century. id like to do my project on Ed Ruscha because his simplicity inspires me to take something simple and make it into something deep and meaningful.

I I really like this movement of pop art. I think it's very meaningful and portrays a message in a very creative way. Pop art connects to fashion because it's a way of expression and so is fashion. Fashion is also art in many ways and connects to art in many ways. Pop art does inspire me. It inspires me to express myself and what I believe in through the clothing I design. I would like to incorporate Kieth Haring into my blouse design.

In my opinion I believe pop art gives artists like me the ability to create art pieces based on the way we view the world. The pop art movement allows everyone to be unique without judgement. "Pop art looks out into the world. It doesn't look like a painting of something, it looks like the thing itself." This quote by Roy Lichtenstein shows that pop artist should not be inspired by other pieces of art, but by the things around us. This connects to fashion design because it helps designers get inspired to create garments based on their own unique style. To not get inspired by other designers, but to find different things to inspire shapes and colors of your own clothing. For my project this term I would like to incorporate Jim Dine art pieces. I was inspired by the colors and different designs he uses abstractly in his heart shapes.

I believe pop art is viewed based on how the late rends are described and viewed./It could be based on fashion icons or styles that would always stick to what is Fashion(''Warhol’s revolutionary Factory would go on to redefine the art of an era, casting new light on ideas about mass production, fame, and the artist’s public persona.'')./On my personal opinion, Pop Art is very inspiring, specially nowadays when the old styles are coming back, Pop Art represents a big portion of the good all days for fashion and art./ I am being inspired by Andy Warhol, he was a really admirable icon for Pop Art.
