By stating "Reseachers firms predict that companies that crack the tech-meets-fashion code should sell hundreds of millions of accessories in the coming years" the author is saying that companies that meet the standards that people would like to see will sell much more in the up coming years. "Meeting standards" means fashionable, or something that can or will grab peoples attention. The tech-meets-fashion code is more appealing, attractive and sexy.

When the author states ,"Research firms predict that companies that crack the tech-meets-fashion code could sell hundreds of millions of accessories in the coming years." He is trying to let the audience know that once companies "crack the tech-meets- fashion code" they're noticing the difference within its new style and creation. In addition to its production on selling hundreds of millions of accessories in the coming years.

The authors is saying if companies stop using the term" tech-meets-fashion" and start to approach consumers in a different way or focus more on the design of it instead of all the technology they would sell much more products. Most tech wear is manly and ugly and most people would not want to wear it. The style is more important, once they get the style down and then focus on the tech part they would sell more products.

when the author states,"Research firms predict that companies that crack the tech-meets-fashion code could sell hundreds of millions of accessories in the coming years.", they are basically saying that once technicians involve fashion in their devices they will attract many different crowds. many people don't buy the devices because its not appealing to the eye. once it is fashionable more people would be interested in buying the product. it will attract people with many different fashion tastes. also if the devices are fashionable, the device will obtain more propaganda and possibly become a trend such as having an iPhone. Otherwise not many people will be willing to purchase the product.

This meaning that those companies who can find the right balance can make money. People will actually want to wear those items. Finding the balance between fashion and technology could make millions.

The author is saying that with a mix of tech and fashion “Today’s wearables are ugly and clunky because tech is a very male-centric industry, and as a result wearables are too ugly for most people". Companies can come up with different kinds of ideas and it would end up a popular trend.
