This past week Fashion High had a magnificent Career Day turnout. Companies such as Tracy Reese, Lucky Magazine, and Versace USA Inc. to name a few were present at our school. They shared their professional expertise, advice, and knowledge about their career choices.

"The Fabric of Our Lives"

In Patternmaking and Sewing Techniques we have shopped and selected woven fabrics for our skirts.

In Draping we used a woven stretch fabric to drape the Basic Cowl Bodice.

Conduct an internet research on fabric studies. Choose two fabrics of your choice and for each fabric post the fabric name, definition, and the end uses for the fabric. Include the website url where you found your information.

Fashion History

1950's



The 1950's, 60's, 70's, and 80's are each fashion decades that stand out on their own. Conduct an internet research and list the fashion trends and fashion designers that were popular during those times.
