Coco Chanel is a big time fashion designer.
What I know about Coco Chanel is she was a Fashion Designer. Her functioal clothes that expressed modern woman in the 20th Century. Her ideas of clothing inspired many woman of her clothing was introduced as simple, elegant, and relaxing of wear.
I know for sure that Coco Chanel was an excellent fashion designer and knew what she was talking about and she knew how to design a dress.
What I know for sure about the fashion designer Coco Chanel is that she saw fashion in a different way than the just the clothing. She was also raised in an orphanage and was born in France. What I also know for sure is she was a business woman too.

What i have learned about the famous big time fashion designer is that she is a big time fashion designer she is a bussiness woman.
She grew up and is from the Uk, london. Also she loves fashion this is what i learned about Coco chanel from reading this artical.

she designed becuase she was very bored of being like everyone esle soshe changed things up a bit.many women didnt find it
very appealing but then they decided to give it a try. one person that really didnt approve of this was napoleaon
bonaparte and he blocked the fireplaces in a palace and forcing women to cover up and the women didnt listen because

the evolution of fashion has changed over history. now the fashion is really into nude which is "flesh" (skin) colored fashion , but it has become a bit of a problem in the fashion world, because it brings out the attention from the model. coco chanel has once said "Look for the woman in the dress" which means that her customer should draw the eye first , not her clothes. coco chanel thinks about what her customer wants and what style will fit the customer best.
Coco Chanel was very relaxed and elegant so her clothing mainly spoke to me because i love her "coco jacket"..... and she always looked past the clothes and focused on the person who wears it.

To me the evolution of fashion throughout history as became a big problem i believe this because around the 1920s fashion was more of a old school look until designers like coco chanel started to make outgoing classy looks such as her cilla dress. With the current vogue for blush- and “flesh”-colored fashion. well this quote from Naked Ambition means that instead of looking at the dress or clothing that the customer or model as on look at them instead because these are your buyers that help make an profit.

@layla cuilan, i believe in what you said about coco chanel creating cloths that will make the women feel good about themselves, she has inspired many people and i think the aspect in that is to make them feel good about themselves to feel beautiful, as you had said.

What I learned for sure is that coco Chanel design may be simple but it classy and a good look for people to wear. Also women’s should not buy or wear a garment the same skin color as yours because they want to see the person wearing it.
@Evan Brown I think that your statement is very true because, Coco Chanel had a very signature look, she made a usual boring and simple look, to a classy professional style.
Coco Chanel was an inspiration because her works was a combination of two simple ideas and use them in an effective way to draw in feminism and elegance with using the color black as a base and then complementing it with the color white, especially express in pearls, just like in Sandro Botticelli’s “Venus and Mars” where Venus’s gown simple with white and yellow, but yet also effective to eye and draws in different ideas.

@Alexis Diaz I agree with your comment because her clothing was eye catching. For example Chanel made clothing that gave a vision of nudity. A lot of people were surprised to see that it was actually clothes. Her ideas and trends of keeping clothes simple and elegant have been passed on and changed around. Her invisible clothing inspired the invention of stockings.

The evolution of fashion changed over time. Coco Chanel was a high end fashion designer who designed simple and elegant clothing which symbolized the 20th century which inspired the woman of that time to wear stocking and short skirts. I personally like the “Coco Jacket” because I like the simple black and white look which brings elegance to the clothing and who wears it.
What I know for sure is fashion has developed over time but the past fashion trends haven’t been lost or forgotten. They are coming back. Coco Chanel inspired fashion trends by using old trends and making them into a style that can be used now. Coco Chanel makes clothing that will make the person wearing it stand out. “Look for the woman in the dress” she is saying you should be the thing that stands out. She wants the person to have the attention just as well as the clothing does.
