The Apple Mac Field Trip Workshop was a pure Blast!!!!!!!
We learned how to create a Digital Portfolio with Mac's latest software i Keynotes.
Students please use this opportunity to reflect on What you have learned for sure!

OMG this trip was so much fun, and an experience that I will not forget from my High School days. Learning how to use the Apple/Mac computers and the Keynote program was definitely something new and worth learning. I will admit, at first I didn't know what the heck I was doing because I've been using the same Dell computer for five years. It was cool and as far as my expectations are concerned I did not expect that. When I went home and watched my presentation on Quicktime I was amazed. My mom almost lost it, I had produced a work of art that I was very proud of. Everything went well, the trip was worth missing class...lol, and I am thankful for everyone everyone ; The Entire Apple Staff, My class mates, Ms Chin and of course MS. DAVID!!

I HAD SOOO MUCH FUNNN THAT DAYY!!!
When Ms. David explained that there was going to be a trip to the apple store I thought that all it was going to be was a trip where you go and the apple worker would discuss on what different apple programs can do and how it can help you. BUT IT WAS BETTER THAN THAT BECAUSE IT WAS HANDS ON. You were able to really learn and be creative with this special program on the mac and one of the best things is that we were able to still keep it on a cd and enjoy it for ourselves and in the future if I do purchase this program I will know how to use it in the most creative ways as possible thanks to Ms. David for taking us and all of the employees at mac for teaching us as-well as Ms Chin for being there too. That whole morning was such a thrill and was more than what my expectations that it would be. THANK YOU MS. DAVID! I WILL REMEMBER THAT DAY ALWAYS <3

The trip met my expectations. I learned about a program I never heard of before, which was Keynotes. To me it was a really detailed version of PowerPoint. It had a lot more options and was just great overall. I was able to do certain things with it that made my digital portfolio somewhat original. I still need to work on my digital portfolio, but I'm glad I learned something that day. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and patient. I enjoyed being there and learning and wouldn't mind going again. I also would recommend people to go because it's worth it.

I LOVED THAT TRIP! I never thought that the trip would be liked that, I just figured that we would have a tour of the Apple Store and listen to a boring lecture (no offense). I loved the fact that we were allowed to use the computers and animate our work into a super cool slide show. The employees at the Apple Store were so friendly and so patient with us. That was the most fun I ever had at a trip when visiting an electronics store. Thank You, Ms. David for that awesome trip!!!

i really liked the trip, i've bever used key note or mac for that matter but now im persuaded to buy one. i did not expect that the trip was going to be like that, i tought we were all going to be sitting down and somebody would talk. i loved it because i want to study graphic design when i go into college and this kind of gave me a view of what it would look like. i thank ms. david and ms. chin for taking us i was really cool!

The trip was real fun.I didn't expect it to turn out that way. I love the Apple computers now. The iKey Notes program we used was fun & gave us an oppertunity to I guess you can say spice up our portfolios. The over all trip was great.
This trip was alot of fun. I liked being able to play around with the features and create a slide show of my work the way that i wanted. Using Keynotes was cool beacuse it let you do alot of different things with your work. I enjyoed this trip alot and im looking forward to going back.

i really enjoyed the field trip at the apple store. I learned alot of things that i know i wouldnt have leanred on my own. Im really glad that i was apart of this trip :]

i had suck a great time going to the apple store. i have been to the apple store on 14th street before but i never had the chance to experience the apple computers for my self. when i went in to the store with my classmates i didnt knoe what to expect.we were escorted to the field trip by the apple store workers. when we got there we stripped offf our coats and alittle more comfortable. After we got rid of our coats we were all brought together by one of the computer stations in the store. corren one of the instructers and her partners help get us started. first went around the table and discuss our names then we were given cool apple shirts then we were set up at computers to use. at the computer we started to upload our projects and portfolio pieces . i had fun tweeking and creating a digital portfolio on the apple store mac computers. we use the program keynotes to tweek and profect our portfolios. i enjoyed putting music and effects on to my portfolio. at the end we recieved free disc to put our newly made portfolios on. lets not for get that in the end we enjoyed using photo booth i took a varity of photos on the mac computers it was so much fun to see my pictures in weird effect such as black and white ,sepia, invert and my favorite the rollercoster theme.

First thing before I start. Bigs shouts To Corren and G....we had mad fun... As soon as we entered the apple store we saw the big giant stairs made of glass..Mad cool...I wanted to walk up them because it was three flights but we had mad scared people....There were people saying there should be a poll in the middle of the stairs or a elevator mad random....well on another note..we were brought to our little section of the storein the corner for us where we can do our little thing at....We started the day by gettin to know our host {aka G and Corren}...As that happend corren tried{yes tried} to throw our t-shirts at us for the fun of it but as you can tell that did not work out..Then we were broken up to groups or 2 and 3....as we began workin on our projects everybody was having fun...For my group it did not started until we found out we could put music form itunes on our slides....As Paper Planes by M.I.A played,Corren started gettin down...As time was running out we had one more thing to do...We took mad pictures. Crazy ones,funny ones and the most random ones....We even grabed Ms.David and the hosts for a few pictures....I think this trip was a learing experence to me it open my eyes to new documents such as keynotes which is a very good program to use....Best to believe with in the next year and a half I will be walkin out the Apple store on 14 street with my new MAC
